This wasn't a problem in the past before Avast took over. As usual, a large vendor takes over a perfectly good program and things go south.
g'day CLJ,
what's the question?
I'm not understanding the problem, can you explain it with more details perhaps. <img alt="" data-emoticon="" src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/default_huh.png" title=""></p>
Question is in the topic title: CCleaner won't delete uninstall entries
Which can happen for various reasons on a system. One of which to start with is make sure you're using an admin account in order to modify uninstall entries.
I never had to use an admin acct. in the past to delete those entries. CC just pops up a message asking if I'm sure I wish to proceed. I assumed I'd get a message I don't have permission.
OK, I ran as admin. Come to think of it, the problem may be that some mos. ago I added that hidden admin acct. to my login choices.
Thanks
