CCleaner won't delete file with very long name

I am using CCleaner v5.84.9126 (64-bit). Several weeks ago I deleted a file that had a very long name. Now, each time I run CCleaner custom clean, I can see that it attempts to purge the long-named file from the Recycle Bin. When I view the Recycle Bin using Windows Explorer, it appears to be empty.

Any suggestions on how to get CCleaner to completely purge the long-named file?

Purge the recycle bin, the steps given here should do the job, the command actually removes the bin so that Windows creates a new one:
