Hello, could you please tell me how to go back to CCleaner 6? I hate the new version—I don’t understand it at all—and I’d like to revert to the old one. I found version 6 online, but it keeps automatically updating, which is really annoying. Thank you for your help.

Follow ALL of the instruction steps there carefully - particularly the steps about updates (steps 4 & 5) if you don’t then your newly rolled back v6.39 will just update to 7 again (as you have already found out).
Hello. I’ve installed CCleaner 6 several times, and even when blocking the update, CCleaner 7 still installs. CCleaner 7 acts like a virus, collecting data that they then resell. If I have any advice, look for alternatives to CCleaner. I hate CCleaner 7, and I’m not the only one; I think more than half the users are unhappy with it. Even when you disable the update, they force the update to version 7. I’m telling you this because they’ve forced the update on me more than five times. Even you download ccleaner 6 day after or less they force install ccleaner 7 without your consent, be carefull
