I've just upgraded my Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) PC from v6.09.10300 to v6.11.10435. The older version worked fine, but the new version consistently crashes (eg the window closes and the process disappears from Task Manager) when the initial Analyse scan has completed. The first time it displayed an error message but this disappeared spontaneously before I had chance to read it.
Installing v6.09.10300 over the top of v6.11.10435 (to regress to the older version) has restored normal behaviour.
Here are screenshots of the options that I have selected (I use the same options for every version of CCleaner)

I had the same problem.
I then put a check in Options / Advanced before "Close program after custom cleanup".
Then the extended cleanup was carried out.
As expected, the cleanup was carried out and the program disappeared in the taskbar.
The next time I started, I removed the hook again and the cleanup was carried out normally, just like before the program was updated.
I too have Windows 7 (Ultimate) SP1) and have just updated CCleaner to ver 6.11.10435 and the scan crashes towards the end, however, I've managed to get mine to complete the scan by unchecking TEAMVIEWER in the Ultilities section, something I noticed you have installed in your screenshots and yours is checked.
Hope this helps

the Teamviewer version is 15.37.3 , and before anyone says it should be updated, I can't!! its used with a dedicated PC in the workshop running old software which cannot be updated.

Just checking if anyone is seeing this behaviour with TeamViewer and Windows 10 or Windows 11? Or only Windows 7/8?

Yes - 3 machines with Win10 also crashing when running initial scan. TeamViewer seems to be causing problems with CCleaner. This has been going on with the past few versions of CCleaner - At first CCleaner required TeamViewer to be closed before it would finish the scan or clean. That's a little difficult to do when working remotely.
To confirm, there is an issue with CCleaner 6.11.10435 specifically relating to running cleans on TeamViewer, which (as per @NE0) can be temporarily worked-around (until we release a fix) for impacted TeamViewer users by unchecking TeamViewer under Custom Clean > Applications > Utilities:
This impacts all Windows versions, but the code in question is specific to TeamViewer cleaning. It does not appear that any other cleaning rules are impacted and does not impact computers that do not have TeamViewer running. The developers are currently working on a fix. TBD at this point if a fix will be issued with the CCleaner 6.12 May release or in an earlier patch.
Edit 2023-04-26 21:41: No committed timeframe as yet, but the current plan is to fix this as a patch build and to not wait for the CC6.12 release. Subject to completion of the patch build candidate, successful regression testing and co-ordination by release engineering, aiming for next week (after the May 1st Bank Holiday/Labour Day long weekend).
Edit 2023-05-02 17:26: A bugfix was released for this today in 6.11.10455 (same version number, different build number, as we usually do for bugfix releases). If you are still on the previous 6.11.10435 build, your copy should automatically update within the next 24-48 hours, or you can click "check for updates" to force an update earlier.
