I like most of the improvements made in CCleaner v3, but I think the icons got a downgrade. Anyone else feel the same? I liked the old icons much better. Hopefully, they will revert back or create some better ones.

CCleaner icon became too contrast and has quite strong edges. Old icon was soft for look.
Icons inside CCleaner (tabs) became too similar.
Please return old large icons, small ones are ok.
I sort of like it, it reminds me of the older logo (v1.x) in the coloring while still holding true to the design of the logo

If this was my first time using CCleaner I would think it looks like some third-rate dangerous program.

You just said it. I agree so much with this.
The old icons of version 2 were so much better, they were easier and neater to the eye. The new ones just remind me of old icons with sharp edges on Windows 98 or some older system. I was actually surprised when I upgraded cause the icons downgraded in style.
The main icon of CCleaner that you see on the desktop, I think they should bring it back to what it looked like on version 2 because it has so much contrast and sharpness to it so it ain't that pretty.
With newer systems right now, they should have pursued their use of softer and neater icons to match with the newer feel of newer UIs.
I actually suggested they should have given it a more aero or MS Office 2010 feel which is very neat.

I liked to previous icons better too, but I've rarely known a software developer to change the appearance once they've made their mind up, especially on a freebie. I hope they do switch back, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think the new main program icon looks a bit too dark at the smaller 16x16 size, for instance when CCleaner is pinned to the Start Menu.
I like the new icons, but not as good as the old ones.
They seem to have lost something.
When I look at old + new side by side, the new obviously has greater detail when magnified by the thumbnail view, but it seems that the greater detail somehow causes the icon to appear darker & less CCleanery than normal when just viewed as an icon.
I wouldn't say the icon is bad, per say, but the darkness seems to take away some from the gloss/glass look that makes it look so appealing.
The dark look makes it seem... different somehow...
