Continuing on with our spring cleaning, we've updated CCleaner to include a few new features, added a few new cleaning abilities, fixed some minor user interface glitches, and (for you advanced folks) added a new property to the INI files.
CCleaner v2.31.1153
Improved Opera favicon cleaning by only deleting non-bookmarked entries.
Detailed view can now be set as default in Advanced options.
Added support to save Startup items to a text file.
Added new INI variable for Local Low folder %locallowappdata%.
Improved OpenOffice 3.x support.
Improved Quicktime player cache cleaning when in Protected Mode.
Fixed bug where Summary panel text could be edited.
Fixed bug in Uninstall Tool for Windows 2008 R2.
GUI improvements to Cookie screen.
Include/Exclude screen sorts entries in alphabetical order.
Number formatting is more accurate in Cleaner results.
I will see after FIRST testing the portable version before doing back flips.
I tried the portable version before posting the message, works as expected. There is a slight bug with it though, you have to restart CCleaner before it works (at least on my system), whether enabling or disabling it.

I'm glad you pointed out the 'detailed view' option otherwise I would've completely ignored this version and kept using that 9 or 10 months old version. Finally updated!
CCleaner (2.31) is STILL cleaning Opera favicons! Not all of them like before, but there are some in my Opera 10.52 "personal bar" that are cleared each and every time I run CCleaner. This is getting a little frustrating.
EDIT: upon further investigation, it is actually cleaning ALL favicons, even search engine icons
