Just used the updater and it tried to update my WIN 10 OS to WIN 11 OS!!!
I keep avoiding WIN 11 OS update even though MS keeps trying to push it down our throats. Way too many privacy issues.
The CCleaner website says that the updater will NOT update the OS but they are WONG. this needs to be addressed asap.
I’ll bump this to make sure that the staff notice it.
Edit - The staff agree that it should not be offering that upgrade from Win10 to Win11 and are looking at why it is doing that, and at blocking it asap.
The Software Updater has been offering Windows Updates for a while now - but many of us think that it shouldn’t be doing that, and certainly not a major Windows version update.
You should always check what CCleaner is offering to update and reject any that you don’t want.
PS. Health Check does not offer the Windows updates, only the stand alone Software Updater will offer them.
