CCleaner tourne en rond It spins around

Bonjour,

J’ai installé CCleaner 7 et lancé “mise à jour de logiciel” mais ça fait 5 heures qu’il tourne en rond et pas moyen de l’arrêter. La touche “arrêter” est inopérante.

CCleaner is spinning around for 5 hours and impossible to stop it.

Quelqu’un peut-il m’aider ? Merci

In your Windows task manager highlight CCleaner and select end task at the bottom of the window.

I have just have similar happen with a Health Check scan sticking at 66%.

Closing and reopening just carried on, stuck where it had left off, and so the only way to stop it was to End Task in Task Manager.

Of course I closed it with Task Manager, but the problem is still here.

When I restart it, it opens in health checking, and is spinning around for hours.

For sure this new version does’nt work. I wonder if I should uninstall it.

Did you End Task on both CCleaner and CCleaner Service ?

As you are having problems with v7 then uninstalling v7 and going back to v6.39 for the time being is an option:

I end both tasks CCleaner and CCleaner Service and restart it.

It seems it’s OK now.I will check again in few days. Il will not uninstall it for now.
