Seems like CCleaner is taking to long to delete small files of 25 megs.
This has never happen before with small files.
Unable to cancel, not working and have to shutdown the windows 8.1.
try disable secure file deletion
I just found out when the history option is disabled i have no proplems deleting.
After files have been deleted I reanable the history option, press delete again
and it stalls at 2%.

No, that didnt help, its not working when i disable secure fire deletion.
Try once ► FF\ Options\ Privacy\ clear your recent history\ Everything.
That may fix the snag.
I dont see that option on FF.

I tried cleaning histrory for both FF and the explorer and still having the same problem.
What version of FF are you using?

Ok, I got CCleaner to work now. I got curious and installed another file delete software
to see if i had probems erasing history with it. I deleted files and did registry repar with
the other software and then i tried CCleaner again but it stalled again.
I didnt like the new software because it was to slow while turning on Windows 8.1.
So i just uninstalled the software from my computer. The software is called
[Moderator edit]
Then my computer started like it should. It was fast.
Then I tried CCleaner again and it worked fine.
I have no problems with it.
Im using version 21.0 of FF because the most newer version have been hard for me to
work with Bookmarks Toolbar.

For what it's worth i'll bet firefox is still running, either in the foreground or the background, whilst you clean. however without a ccleaner debug report, there's no way for me to be sure.
