CCleaner support is sending confusing emails about my subscription and possibly can't distinguish US & UK dates

Today, 18th September, I received an email offering “Cashback offer: renew now to get 2 years of CCleaner Premium for the price of 1!”. It also said “Your CCleaner Professional Plus MD subscription with the following details will expire soon:” and had the line “Expiry Date: 6/9/2025”!

When I checked in the CCleaner program, it says:

The license key in both the email and the program are the same.

It’s a little worrying that whatever sent the email seems to have missed the fact that I have already renewed for 2 years and also seems to have treated 6/9/2025 as a date in September causing a renewal offer to be sent. I hope the software engineers who work on CCleaner itself are better than those who support the subscription software appear to be!

Hi @StarNamer,
We would like to sincerely apologize for an error in our recent email campaign. The message you received did not reflect the current status of your license and incorrectly suggested an expiration. We will do our best to ensure license details are communicated correctly in the future.
That said, the offer included in the campaign is still valid for you—and it represents the best deal available on our top product.
Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your continued trust in us.
