CCleaner Startup

What would I do without CCleaner? This is really one of the best software products I have seen.

If I'm looking at speeding up a pc, I go into startup and disable as many programs as possible. If I disable them all is there a chance that the pc won't boot at all, or is there a mechanism to prevent this from happening?

I can get startup info on what to enable/disable from SysInfo

No, no essential program (like system processes) can be disabled. First thing I do on other people's computer is take everything off of startup.

OK - many thanks.

This is a really big RAM saver. :D

Not only that, but it helps the system boot faster if you're doing stuff to it that needs reboots :)

Though, some programs don't like to be removed from start up/ don't show up with CCleaner's list. For me, Curse Client (an addon downloader/manager for games) does not appear on the CCleaner list, but does in msconfig, and on some systems (usually ones with multiple language packs installed) ctfmon.exe refuses to leave the start up list.
