This is not a big deal, but just curious. On my desktop with free version, Windows 10, my CCleaner has always started on the customize cleaning page, where you can check and uncheck what you want ccleaner to clean. I recently got a new laptop with Windows 11 and installed the same version of CCleaner. I think the startup settings are the same, but the page it starts on is different, giving choices for Run cleaner, Analyze or Customize, where you need to click into the customize page. Any thoughts why it acts differently on my desktop and laptop? Is it the Windows 10 vs 11 thing? Is it a setting I am missing? Is it perhaps that I have updated the desktop from old versions for years and at one point was a subscriber? Or am I missing or not seeing a setting somewhere?
Hi tachy:
Go to Option | Settings | CCleaner Home Screen and choose "Custom Clean" (not "Health Check") if you want to start at the Custom Clean interface when you launch CCleaner.

I do have CUSTOM CLEAN chosen in settings and it is starting on custom clean……but there is a preliminary screen that comes up first…..requiring an extra click to get into the customization screen (that is not on my other computer, with the same version of CCleaner but different operating system (and that one has been updated many times, whereas this one is a fresh install.)). This screen on my laptop os sort of a dumbed down screen that says…..Welcome back to CCleaner.
On the left it is has 3 choices…..Run Cleaner……Analyze……or Customize…. Not a big deal…just curious why both computers start on a different CCleaner Custom Clean page?
