CCleaner startar inte

Har CClenaer Pro. Har fungerat bra. Plötsligt händer inget när jag försöker starta den. Absolut ingenting. Har startat om med mera. Har varit i kontakt med Norton 365. Har varit i kontakt med Microsoft - och de säger att jag skall kontakta er. Problemet har pågått i en vecka nu,

Hello. Have CClenaer Pro. Has worked well. Suddenly nothing happens when I try to start it. Absolutely nothing. Have restarted, reinstalled and more. Have been in contact with Norton 365. Have been in contact with Microsoft - and they say that I will contact you. The problem has been going on for a week now.

Are you using an Antivirus other than Windows Defender?

Try doing a reinstall of CCleaner v6.39 using the instructions here, it is very important that yo turn off the automatic updating like it tells you to do.
Let us know if it works for you.

How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39

We now have numerous posts from users dissapointed with the new v7 and asking if/how they can roll back to v6.39. Whilst normally I would say that you should use the latest version that works on your machine I also believe that you should have the choice to roll back from a major feature update. Particularly if/when that update is flawed. Windows defender. And Norton 360.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled CCleaner. When clicking the ikon NOTHING happens.

Try pausing Norton while you install CCleaner, or perhaps better to make CCleaner an exception/allow in Norton.

I suspect that Norton is blocking a connection that CCleaner needs to make.

(You’d think that being part of the same group they would play nice, but …).
