I am not sure where this topic fits in, so I apologise if it's in the wrong location. As a long-time user of CCleaner Premium, I'd like to give you some feedback on your customer retention. Personally, I think it sucks, and it needs to be improved. In a few weeks, my premium account expires, and I am considering using the free version. I may be enticed to stay with premium, but that depends on you. As I have gotten closer to the end, countless offers have been automatically sent my way, either through the software or via email. Every single one has been garbage.
Large bold titles come my way with offers such as.....
Your license expires soon. Get 2 years for the price of 1 when you renew and upgrade.
Then, you see the small print, which applies to five devices. Who uses five devices? 1% of your customer base, perhaps. You are hell-bent on getting £80 from me, no matter what it takes. You can clearly see my usage history... I use one computer. Give me this offer for one device... but no, you won't because, as a company, it doesn't cost you any more to cover one or five devices. You simply want to extract the maximum amount from your customers and sugarcoat it as a great offer.
I know you won't listen to this. You've grown too big now. Long gone are the days when many first discovered you on Filehippo—this great little program. Now you are all corporate and just follow the money.
