CCleaner repeatedly tries to put itself into the start menu on startup

I have the box for CCleaner to start on startup unchecked, yet it ALWAYS tries to reinsert itself into the start menu when I start it. I have WinPatrol, which is telling me about this, and CCleaner is taking minutes to load because it's trying over and over and failing to put itself into the start menu.

What can I do to stop it doing this? This is the only program I have that does this. I got WinPatrol for this very reason, so I could stop it, but it doesn't matter. I block it once, it tries again.

This is extremely annoying. I don't want it running all the time. Please help.

Do you have monitoring turned on?

No, I don't. I turned all that off long ago. That's why I don't understand this.

can you show a screenshot of the entry CC is putting into the startup list?

yet it ALWAYS tries to reinsert itself into the start menu when I start it.

perhaps its the "ccleaner skip uac"...?

this can you deactivate

options -> advanced -> uncheck "skip user account control warning"
