As it says in the title, every time I run health check it put the icon for MSI Afterburner back on my desktop home screen...I obviously don't want it on there because I delete it every time. Also, it keeps trying to update Bluestacks which it can’t because they suck and can’t make an update that doesn’t require you to redownload it from their website. Any help on the MSI icon being replaced every time would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance.
I guess that you are using Health Check which includes an automatic Software Updater in CCleaner Pro.
Your best, easiest, option if you don't want that is to use Custom Clean instead.
Open CCleaner, go to Options>Settings, and set the CCleaner Home Screen to 'Custom Clean'. You will have to check that the ticks/unticks are how you want them - but it won't try to update your software automatically.
If you do ever want to check then Tools>Software Update.
In my 1st sentence I said when I use Health Check, no guessing was required. I use both HC and custom clean. For whatever reason, possible my settings, I find/remove more using HC 1st then follow up with the custom clean. If it’s gonna do it every time, then I'll just deal with it. Just figured I'd ask any see if anyone had a solution. Thanks man
No real need for the attitude.
But yes - Stop using Health Check and learn how to set up Custom Clean to clean what you want.
No attitude, just stating a fact. I don't want to stop using HC, as I said I find and clean more when I use it with custom clean. I'll just deal with it for the year and then decide if I want to renew next March when it's up again.
