CCleaner Professional .... it auto installs version 7.0.1010.0 but I don't want it! I want my CCleaner Professional back!

I restarted it and thought maybe once I do a scan (with no option to input what will or will not be scanned), everything else will appear. I clicked on the Scan Now button and nothing happened. I don’t get it. Where are disk and file cleaner, Registry cleaner, driver updates, and software updates? Why can’t I change any of the options I tried? Why did it crash when I was in the Privacy menu? Why did the Scan Now button not do anything? I uninstalled CCleaner 7 from Windows Control Panel, downloaded and installed v6.39.

If so you need to open windows services (Win+R services.msc) and make sure that there is a ccleaner 7 service and it is started and set to automatic, ccleaner is a windows service now. You should see

Where they broke the whole thing is, even though health check is unavailable without the service. the screen shows its opening page instead of a warning to start the service, confusing you into thinking you can (have to) run a scan. @Laurence_CCleaner This a terrible bug
