I need urgent help with CCleaner Professional (paid license).
On my system the main window simply refuses to open.
CCleaner64.exe starts normally (visible in Task Manager), but nothing appears on screen – no splash screen, no UI.
What I already tried (nothing helped):
Clean uninstall + reinstall (official installer)
Deleted all leftovers with CCleaner’s own Uninstall Tool
Deleted HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform
UAC completely disabled
Reputation-based protection OFF
DPI scaling set to 100 %
Run as administrator
Compatibility mode Windows 10/8
Disabled antivirus completely
Process Monitor log shows hundreds of “NAME NOT FOUND” errors under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
for keys like KernelBase.dll, Kernel32.dll, Wintrust.dll, etc. (see attached screenshot)
This looks exactly like the known bug in CCleaner 7.0.0.7928 – 7.0.0.7945 that Piriform fixed with a private hotfix (7.0.0.7961 or newer).
Unfortunately, updating Windows to a newer build is technically not possible on this machine, so I’m stuck on Windows 11 23H2 (Build 22631.6060).
Could someone from the CCleaner team (or anyone who already received the hotfix) please send me the fixed installer that works on 23H2?
I have a valid Pro license and can provide the key via PM if needed.

Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (Build 22631.6060)
CCleaner Version: 7.0.0.7945 (current official download)
I appreciate the suggestion, but your response is not helpful. As I’ve already described, this appears to be a known bug, and I have already performed all recommended steps, including reinstalls and cleanups. I require dedicated, technical support, but it seems that the CCleaner support channel is currently inaccessible or unresponsive.
And why a chat with the CCleaner Support Team is not possible any more? There is showing a message “Failed to initialize chat: URL malformed.
–> it seems that CCleaner does not want to get in contact with their customers?
I have a similar problem. Clicked on CCleaner and nothing happens. Was working before. Tried admin mode. Tried virus scanning off. Uninstalled, and downloaded again. Download will not install. Click and nothing happens. Tried compatibility mode, nothing.
Yeah, 7 just freezes and never works, its impeccable how these absolute scumbags for a company cant even make sure their new version works before forcing it to roll out regardless. Get your {Censored} together.
