After install CCleaner is not working and will not open

Need more info.

What operating system.

Which anti-virus.

Did you update from a previous version.

Windows 7 Norton and PC Matic for anti-virus and I did not update from another version

So you are running 2 antivirus at the same time?

Can I ask why?

Did you download the free CCleaner version?

Use the SLIM version from here (bottom in the list)

You really should only use one antivirus.

Is your AV up to date ?

CCleaner will peacefully co-exist with any correctly maintained antivirus software (ie: kept up-to-date by both the developer and the user). However multiple always-on antivirus software will generally not peacefully co-exist with each other. Sounds like Norton and PC Matic may be too busy fighting over whose turn it is to check CCleaner to let you open it. Try switching one off (and ensuring the other is up to date)
