CCleaner not cleaning app cache on Android 7.1.2 with root

Hi,

I've been having an issue with CCleaner 1.20.82 not being able to clean app cache on my Android 7.1.2 phone with root. This functionality used to work, but it does not.

My root manager allows CCleaner to use root functionality, and other apps that require root on my phone do work as well. I'm assuming that the latest version of CCleaner caused this issue, as I was able to clean app cache with root before.

Hi o355, and welcome to the forum.

I don't know exactly how long 7.1.2 has been out, (a few months?), but maybe the devs are still trying to figure out the nuances of this latest Android version, and it may also have something to do with the many issues Android users with various phones have been having with it.

The best I can do is point the devs to your post which will make them aware of your issue. Can you provide details of your phone?
