CCleaner No Longer Runs From RecycleBin Context Menu

Whenever I try to start CC from the Recycle bin right-click menu I get an error message stating "is not a valid Win32 Application"?

This just began spontaeously and reinstalling does not help.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimatex64. It runs fine from Programs Menu or Short-cut.

Thanks in Advance

Which CCleaner version?

Which CCleaner version?

Um...(free) current of course.

It is difficult to know for sure what could be causing this, but have you tried system restoring back to a working date?

If you want to try, be sure you have all data backed up first.

Malware & Viruses can cause this error, but it can also be caused by file corruption & other things.

Um...(free) current of course.

Open ccleaner and look in the top left hand corner and you will see the version (build) of ccleaner you are using.

At the moment the latest is 3.14.1616

Um...(free) current of course.

It is never safe for us to make any such assumption.

It is also bad practice in general because it is VERY unhelpful to newcomers who may have the same problem as this Topic Title in the future,

and they might wish to know if they are using the same version that caused you grief.
