CCleaner no longer deletes all files, since Win 10 "upgrade".

Ever since I "upgraded" to Windows 10, CCleaner will no longer completely delete the:

1.) Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files ( leaves 5,121KB, every time).

2.) Windows Explorer Thumbnail Cache (leave 5kb to 100kb, every time).

3.) System Windows Log Files (leaves 1,024KB every time).

If I run the Cleaner multiple times, some of these files actually grow in size.

What can I do to get a "complete" deletion and have CCleaner provide results the way it used to do, before Win 10?

Thanks.

what CC version are you using?

do you have 'only delete files older than 24 hours' ticked?

Using Pro v5.23.5808

DID have 'only delete files older than 24hours' ticked. Must have been default, because I never set it that way.

Un-ticked this setting, restarted CCleaner and got same results, multiple times.

CC v5.25 is the latest.

Download it from here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds and plug in your Pro key once you have it up and running.

Do you use the winapp2.ini file or any other enhancements for CC?

What about EXCLUDE's, no changes there that could account for those stubborn files?

if the latest version doesn't help, do an Analyse and double click one of the categories that contain your stubborn files, post a screenshot and let's see what stands out.
