CCleaner keeps logging me out on Edge browser and Google Drive client

Windows 11.
Edge browser latest version.
Google Drive client latest version.
CCleaner v6.31.11415.

The problem:
Every time I use CCleaner, it logs me out of my Edge browser and Google Drive client.
This problem is random. Sometimes it logs me out after running CCleaner and sometimes it doesn’t.

Under Custom Clean I have the following unchecked.
Edge browser: Session and Saved Passwords.
Google Drive.

How do I prevent from being logged out?
Thanks

Cookies? Do you have them selected for Edge?
If so then unselect ‘cookies’ too and see if that cures your problem.

If that does the trick then you can fine tune which cookies you want to clean and which you want to keep.
Use the Options>Cookies to tell CCleaner to ‘keep’ certain cookies that you do not want to be removed.
eg. Moving Google.com to the ‘Cookies to keep’ side would then mean it’s cookes will be left alone when cleaning cookies:

Although it is probably easier these days to set it up in Health Check - it’s the same keep/allowlist in both Custom Clean and Health Check but in Health Check there is a dialogue to set them up which can be easier to use than the one in Options>Cookies.

You can add cookies for some or all of your bookmarked websites to the allowlist, or add commonly kept ones from a list (or type other ones in manually)

I unchecked “cookies,” but that made no difference.

Just to be clear here.

You are unticking the boxes in Custom Clean fair enough, but are you then (sometimes) running Health Check as well as Custom Clean?

Health Check is not governed by the ticks/untick in Custom Clean.
If you run Health Check it ignores those ticks/unticks in Custom Clean.

Could that explain why you say it happens randomly?, ie. it’s not random but is only logging you out if/when you run Health Check?

I would set all the Google (and MS Edge) related cookies to be kept anyway and see if that does cure things for you.
Setting the cookies to keep is one setting that is used the same by both Custom Clean and Health Check.

I never run “Health Checks.”
I only use “Custom Clean.”

I just received an update to CCleaner and the problem is gone.

Oh, well if the update to v6.32 has cured it for you then I guess we’ll never know just what was causing it for you.

In the end all that matters is that it’s now doing what you want it to do…

Thank you for all your help.
