CCleaner is preventing Foxit PDF Editor from opening

Hi. According to Foxit, my CCleaner program extension on my Foxit PDF Editor program is preventing me from opening Foxit files on my Windows 11 desktop.
Can anyone help me here?

Thanks
Greg C

Who has told you that?

CCleaner is a stand-alone application, it is not an “extension” for another app or browser.

If you would like to give us details of what is or isn’t happening then we may have some suggestions.
eg.
Are you double-clicking the PDFs to open them? What happens then?

If you right click the PDF and choose “Open with” then will the PDF file open in another reader or in your browser?

Thanks for the quick reply.
A consultant from Foxit worked remotely on my computer and couldn’t solve the issue. They might be trying to deflect their responsibility, I dont know but I do see that in the tools tab there are Foxit files. I have tried everything to solve the problem myself but not having any luck

it’s possible that the person used ccleaner’s “performance optimizer” to put “foxit” to sleep and, now, it is not “waking up.”

Yes that is possible, but so are a number of other things - which is why @GregoryC needs to give us more information of just what is happening.

More information such as the answers to the questions that I asked above.

Plus a couple more:

In which section of the tools do you see Foxit files?

If you go into Performance Optimizer > Sleeping Programs then do you see Foxit there?

PS. Are you absolutely sure that the “Consultant” was from Foxit?
Where did you get their contact details from?
