I am getting a ‘Health Check’ popup multiple times a day that is getting very frustrating. I do not see an option to disable this popup from prompting me to run a health check. Is there an option to disable this popup or is uninstalling my paid version of this application the only option to stop it?
Thanks!
I’m not sure which popup you mean, but does it not stop if you do run Health Check?
Edit - You should now be able to post a screenshot of the popup which would help us identify it.
I’ve not seen that one myself.
You say that it’s happening in CCleaner Pro, does it stop happening if you run a Health Check?
CCleaner Professional v6.36.11508
I have never run the Health Check feature because I did not purchase the software for that function. The software was purchased to for the cleaning functionally only.
I do not feel I should be pressured by a popup every other hour into using features of an application I opt not to use.
Health Check is just ‘basic’ cleaning with a software update check thrown in.
I’d just run it (so you can see just what it does).
If you don’t want it to do anything then after it has scanned you can just click ‘skip’ in the bottom right of each action page:
Once you have run a scan with it then CCleaner should stop showing you that nag.
Nah. I’ll just find a different application to use that won’t annoy you with popups until you use a feature you’ve chosen not to.
Thanks for your help!
Your choice, but TBH running a one off HC scan is going to take much less time than unintalling and then reinstalling something else.
