Hi Everyone, firstly I wish to thank you for this wonderful software.
I also wish to inform the recent version (ccsetup533) always hang during the first cleaning. So I uninstall it and install the previous version which is good.

can you provide some more info, like, what was the error you were getting?
and did it only happen on the first run, that is, the second usage of CC was OK?
what is your OS?
Hi Mta, very sorry for this late reply and also for not providing enough info.
The answers are as follows,
1. There are not error, it just hangs and not operating, can’t enough off it. Need to use the “Windows Task Manager” to turn it off.
2. After it’s turn off and on again, it still hang
3. Windows 7

let's try a few things, and hopefully get something more to go on.
can you start the PC in Safe Mode and run CC from there and see if that helps?
apologies if you already know how, but to get Windows 7 into Safe Mode, reboot and as it starts, hit F8 like a crazy person.
if no luck there, start the PC normally and run CC with the DEBUG switch, info on that here; http://www.piriform.com/docs_live/ccleaner/troubleshooting/running-ccleaner-in-debug-mode
then you can attach the debug txt file in your next post.
As explained previously, I had already un-installed this version and installed an earlier version which is good. So now I will un-installed the lower version and download / installed the latest version.
Surprisingly, it seem good now, doesn’t hangs anymore. I guess I must say it was solved.
