CCleaner hangs while cleaning non-existent file in Recycle Bin

Since yesterday, CCleaner hangs each time while doing a standard cleaning cycle. I have updated to version Pro 5.32.6129 64-bit but the error didn't go away.

I checked in my Recycle Bin, but the folder nor the file really exists. (Yes, I can see all files in the recycle bin, that's not the problem and I'm owner and have admin rights there).

Please see attached a screen capture with the name of the folder and the file. It's rather annoying because I'm unable to clean the rest of my pc.

Anyone has a bright idea?

two options; see here; https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=42673 on how to fix a corrupted recycle bin or you can untick the Empty Recycle Bin option to get over this hump.
