Ccleaner freezes

When running my CCleaner today I noticed that it freezes about halfway through. I isolated where the problem is - it keeps getting stuck when cleaning "Google Chrome Internet History". I've had Google Chrome for over a year and haven't installed anything new associated with it.

I have Windows Vista and just downloaded v 2.26.1050 this morning. I don't believe that it's a problem of the new version of CCleaner because the program got stuck in the same place before I downloaded the update.

What happens if you clean the history first from within Chrome, close and reopen the browser, then browse a bit, does ccleaner still act the same way?
