My free version of CCleaner for Mac wants to delete 35 TB (!) of junk. How is that even possible? My storage isn’t that big. I don’t trust this. It’s program cache of Google. Any suggestions what to do?
We don’t have many Mac users here, and I’m not one.
If someone on Windows had said that about 35TB then I would have suspected a corrupt recycle bin.
I don’t know if you would see the same growing GB/TB with a corrupted Trash on a Mac though.
May be worth looking at this anyway, it’s similar tof the fix for a corrupted Windows bin:
However you mention a Google cache so is it trying to clean your Google Cloud drive?
TBH I’m not sure if CCleaner for Mac does that or if it’s only in CCleaner for Windows.
