just went to open ccleaner and it wanted me to install v7 so i did but now it wont open it is unusable this is on windows11,
version 7 is clearly junk and i dont want it, how to keep version 6 installed as when ever i try to launch v6 ccleaner wants to install the useless v7
Same here, I’m on Windows 10 32 bit, forced install of version 7, when I open it all I can see is this (and nothing is clickable anyway), in order to make it work I have to re-install it, works once, the next time it’s the same problem again.
It looks like the ccleaner service is not started. Go into windows services and right click ccleaner service, and choose start
Thank you - Question: does this mean that now Ccleaner must be allowed to run in the background permanently?
Mine won’t start even if both CCleaner services is set to autostart, so there must be something else too?
I din’t unistall the old 6 service :-/ I tried to clean up everything and reinstall 7, but still won’t start. Luckily I had the full offline installer for the latest 6 version, so I reinstalled that again, and that works
