Will CCleaner continue to work on Windows 7 when I renew my license? Latest version works but it ends in short while.
Not really, no. 6.39 is the last version for windows 7 and it’ may die a slow death if you’re updating (at the very least) your browser, because no new cleaning updates will come to 6.39, and I don’t think tech support is there for you (stuck on 6) if you subscribe for pro.
I believe that Tech Support will still be available for v6.39 on Windows 7.
It is after all now the “Official’ Sunset release” on the CCleaner Builds page:
However as already said it is never going to be updated and so will fall behind and get less effective as other softwares, particularly browsers, continue to evolve.
