CCleaner Finds 200+ MB's in Recycling-Bin?

Hi Folks,

I looked around to see if this has been addressed - nope. So:

I run CCL and it tells me there is between 207MB and 215MB in the recyling-bin. I remove same. And it's back - 210MB. Then 208MB. Etc. With no end in sight. And there wasn't ANYTHING in the recycling-bin. It doesn't matter if I run it with standard remove, or 7-passes DOD eraser. I've tried uninstalling CCL and re-installation - same thing over & over. I currently have recyling-bin unchecked. Then all is well. Any ideas of what's going on here?

I'm running Windows 8.1 (pity me) with enough RAM to choke an Elephant. No other software glitches. No malware detected, or virus. Never had any issues with CCL in the 10 years or so I've used it.

Best wishes,

Dave

Fix Corrupted Recycle Bin

any reason why the corrupt recycle bin issue can't be pinned ?

seems to come up often enough.
