When I scan my pc the following three updates continue to show up even though they are out dated and have been replaced by newer ones:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (x64) - KB3001652
Microsoft .Net Host 6.0.36 (x64) - KB5047486
Microsoft Office Outlook 20007 - KB40112000
Is there a way to remove them from the Driver Update so they will not keep coming up?
Are those Driver Updates or Software Updates?
They look more like Software Updates to me.
Driver Updates can be paused/hidden, but at the moment Software Updates can’t be.
(We have asked for it but it hasn’t been implemented yet).
To pause/hide Driver Updates click on the ‘Details’ button next to the update:
Then select either ‘Skip this Version’, or ‘Pause Updates’
If these are Software Updates so you can’t currently hide them then simply ignore them if you don’t want them.
Just because CCleaner says it’s found something to update that doesn’t mean that you have to update it.
With drivers in particualr installing an uneeded version (one that isn’t for your machine) can have unintended consequences and even break your machine.
