Why doesn't Ccleaner recognize that the latest MS OneDrive version is already installed? Ccleaner always complains that it is an outdated version.

Software Updaters can often offer you an update before the app itself does.
Some/many apps will say that they are up-to-date for days or even weeks after a new version is availabe.
That is simply because the apps developer is rationing out the update so as not to overload their update server.
And Microsoft itself does ration updates, you may not be given a Microsoft update for days or weeks after it is available.
(Plus of course there are the 'Insider Preview' versions that will be available before general release. I'm not sure if the new Software Updater picks those up or not?)
Checking the OneDrive webpage the current general release version is v24.126.0623.0001 (released July 3, 2024).

Is that the version that you currently have?
What version is Software Updater offering you?
Having said all that - updaters can and do also get things wrong now and again.

Aah. if it's happening with each new version then I suspect that I know why that is.
CCleaner is saying that you have OneDrive v24.025.0204.0003 currently installed, that version is from the 1st March 2024.
The latest OneDrive version is v24.126.0623.0001 (released July 3, 2024) and that is what CCleaner is offering to update to.
If CCleaner is finding it to update with every new OneDrive version that will be because Microsoft is not giving you the updates automatically, probably because you have changed a setting in Windows update.
Go into Windows Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options and make sure that you have "Recieve updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows". set to On.
<img alt="Capture.JPG" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="19293" data-ratio="38.00" data-unique="xy77l7vtk" width="579" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2024_07/Capture.JPG.749130a850e92ff8d0c6e6f2bd010a09.JPG">
Then go back to Windows Update and click on "Check for updates". That should then update your OneDrive to the latest version.
(It may. probably will, update some other Microsoft stuff as well).
Leave that setting enabled and in future you should then automatically get the OneDrive updates from Microsoft themselves.
And once you have already got the latest version direct from Microsoft then CCleaner's Software Updater will see that it's already up to date.
PS. Another reason why it may not be updating automatically is if you have paused (or deferred) Windows automatic updates.
Alternatively you can update OneDrive manually yourself; go to that page I linked above and download the update from there.
Once downloaded double click on "OneDriveSetup.exe" to install the latest version.
