CCleaner does not clean Chrome cache 14 on Win7x64

CCleaner 3.10.1525 never cleans my Chrome cache, though it does properly clean everything else.

It always reports 0KB in the Chrome cache whether checked (in the GUI I mean) or not, and of course never cleans anything.

The details: it's Win7x64 on a Dell XPS 8100 8GB (Core i7/860). What's worth noting is that C: is an SSD and I manually redirect the Google directory to D:\Google (D: is a regular HDD) using a directory symbolic link in my %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local directory. So Chrome thinks it's installed on C: but it's actually not thanks to the symbolic link. (Maybe that's confusing CCleaner?)

My Firefox caches are cleaned even though they are redirected via a symbolic link.

Far more likely that your unspecified Chrome is a new version that CCleaner is not yet configured for.

Hmmm. Well I keep the WINAPP2.INI file up to date... and Chrome 14 is now "stable".

I had a different suspicion, which is that if you have background services running in Chrome (for example, CloudPrint) then Chrome is always "running" and this blocks CCleaner from accessing Chrome's cache.
