I disabled the Internet Explorer in my system. But in the CCleaner menu, this browser is still present. The same applies to the Windows Media Player.

I disabled the Internet Explorer in my system. But in the CCleaner menu, this browser is still present. The same applies to the Windows Media Player.
While you did remove the web browser (front end), windows and many other programs still can use internet explorer's databases and rendering ability.
Windows media player, on the other hand, probably sticks around on ccleaner's list because it left behind either a file or a registry key that ccleaner uses as its detector.
