CCleaner closes when clicking minimize

Whenever I click “Minimize” CCleaner closes. It started two weeks ago. (No, updates didn’t cause it.)

I have Windows 11 with all the updates. I’ve also read that uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work: from a couple of posts some years ago.

Is there any solution for this? TIA.

make sure the option to minimize to system tray isn’t on. under options advanced

I’m not sure why that option is even still there?
It’s not been needed since at least Windows Vista.
I guess nobody ever got round to removing it.
