Hello,
Since I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7, I've noticed something strange. The default "Alarms" app in Windows 8.1 started behaving strangely. When it rings, in its toast notification there is only a "X" button to dismiss the alarm - no "Snooze" or "Dismiss" buttons on the right of the notification, as it normally displays. After doing some research on the internet, I've found out that in order for the "Alarms" app to show those buttons/commands, the app must be set as a default alarm app in PC Settings -> Computer and Devices -> Lockscreen -> Select an application for showing alarms. I've done it and that fixed the problem for some time. But actually although not always, the problem occurs again. And when it does, it is after a cleanup with CCleaner. Is CCleaner cleaning something that resets the "Select an application for showing alarms" setting in Windows 8.1? And if so - can I somehow tell CCleaner not to clean that thing?
Thanks much in advance!
