CCleaner, Chrome Cookies and computer speed (W7)

Tried to find a similar topic but couldn't find one quickly.

For months (new W7-64 PC since june) I 've been using CCleaner to clean up disk and registry regularly, and the cookies-box for Chrome is checked

Today I found, immediaty after cleaning with CCleaner, via the options of Chrome itself, to my surprise dozens, if not hundreds of Cookies. After removing them with Chrome itself the speed of my PC dramatically improved.

Boldly: How come?

Hi Fritz, and welcome to the forum.

Do you have "Adobe Flash Player" checked in ""CCleaner\Applications\Multimedia"?

If not, they were probably flash cookies.
