CCleaner can't help me delete Google Sync (ie: Google Drive) program on my PC.

(Also called "Backup and Sync from Google")

https://www.google.com/intl/en_zm/drive/download/

I wanted to remove it and then do a clean reinstall because it stopped working

Windows can not find the source files for the installation, and therefore can not delete it.

I can not re-install it until it is removed first.

I was hoping that CCleaner would help me fix my registry and help me delete the program and clean out the offending files, but it didn't.

CCleaner is not meant to do that kind of task - and Chrome files can be hard to remove.

Synced data in particular is hosted on Googles servers and protected from deletion by anything but Google.

EDIT - See my next post.

@Floridian

It seems that you are not the only one with this problem completely uninstaling Google drive.

See here for a solution and the files and registry keys to delete (you'll have to do them manually):
