Not critical at all, but I’m curious if this is a bug that needs to be reported or corrected. I have all settings configured to avoid the cleaner popup-v7 in the taskbar, yet it still appears intermittently. It’s not a major issue, but I wanted to confirm. Thanks

The short of it is open task scheduler and set the ccleaner.exe/bg task to delay 30 seconds. https://windowsloop.com/how-to-delay-scheduled-task-in-windows-10-11/
Also that section of windows settings is only for hide in overflow or show on desktop, the problem your having is the icon is unopened

I unmarked solution in this, it seems i read @Caz1964 post incorrectly. Are you saying you don’t want the icon and it’s appearing sometimes or (what i may have mistakenly thought) you want the icon and sometimes it’s not there?
Oops, I responded in wrong area..sorry. No, everything is fine, and thank you for responding. I didn’t want to raise alarm over minor issues, but it did make me curious.
I’m wondering why the cleaner popup eventually appears as a tray icon, even though this setting is consistently turned off in both the Cleaner and Windows settings. Is this expected or normal behavior? If so, what causes it?
I would prefer that it not appear there, as that is my selected and preferred setting.
