CCleaner broke numerous things including access to my NAS

Immediately after running CCleaner for the first time:

  • I lost several icons that previously displayed for programs and shortcuts
  • I lost connection to my NAS backup drive and have not been able to get it working again.
  • Adobe Acrobat just simply won’t open and therefore doesn’t work.
  • I suspect I’ll find more as I waste more time trying to clean things up.

Is this in reply to an earlier thread?

I lost access to my NAS after first scan with CCleaner. Can’t see my NAS shared folders at all. Looks like some things (Files? Settings?) got wiped out. Any ideas?
