CCleaner "Broke" My Bluetooth: After Updating the Driver, I No Longer Have Bluetooth

CCleaner told me my Bluetooth driver needed an update. I hadn’t been having any issues with my bluetooth, but I figured if it needed an update, I may as well do it. So I had CCleaner update the driver and restart my computer. Since then, my computer no longer detects Bluetooth. When I try to launch anything bluetooth-related in settings, it says no bluetooth is found.

I’ve never had ANY issues with my bluetooth up until I used CCleaner. How do I fix this?

When it comes to drivers then I always figure: ‘If it ain’t broke then don’t try to fix it’.

No driver updater can ‘know’ if a particular driver is suitable for your machine or not, all it can see is that it’s ‘newer’ than the one that you already have installed.

(And one way to stop some part of your computer working properly is to install a driver that was not meant for it.
If/When you do that they you have to put the old, working, driver back).
