CCleaner is producing a message that says "Google Chrome needs to be closed to clean the Internet Cache," yet I see no evidence that Google Chrome is open. The Windows Task Manager Applications screen is blank. Nothing is open. Reboot does not help. See attached screenshots.
Look under the Processes tab in the Task Manager.

Thank you for your response. There were multiple listings for Chrome under the Processes tab. After doing some research, I found the solution was as follows: On the Chrome browser, go to the upper right corner to get the customize and control menu, select Settings, scroll down and select the Advanced section, scroll down to the System section and turn off “Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed.”
