Ccleaner always skips Edge and Chrome

Hello folks,

This is on Windows 10 Home, and Ccleaner version, 5.19.5633 (64-bit)

I have read old threads about fixing these issues but none have worked so far.

In Chrome, I do not have ‘background apps’ checked.

For Edge, I rarely use it, but in other thread a user mentioned to turn off Superfetch service. This service never runs on my machine (at least I check it before and after Ccleaner use and I don't find it).

how do i turn on ccleaner for chrome? it worked for a while, but quit recently ... help, please

can you provide more details, like, CC version, Windows version, Chrome version?

and what is your problem?

is Chrome cleaning being skipped, as in the OP's title?
