CCleaner 7 loading problem after welcome screen

I downloaded CCleaner 7, installed it, opened it and the welcome screen appeared. I cannot get rid of the welcome screen to move on to the actual program. I tried uninstalling the program and downloading it again. Didn’t help. I got into chat and I guess the AI agent told me to do a bunch of things. Didn’t help. They said they’d connect me to a human agent. Waited 45 minutes and nothing. I gave up. Can someone advise me, please?

Try holding down the Alt key on your keyboard and at the same time tap F4 key once.

OK, it’s working some of the time. It finally worked and I did a scan but when I closed the program again I had the same problem when I opened it.. But at least it’s working some of the time. It also when I open the program if I want this app to make changes to my computer. Every time.

Perhaps you may want to return to v6.39 until v7 gets ‘mended’ (It should never have been released in the state it is in)

How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39

Wow, I’m sorry but I’m having a problem again. I did everything I was supposed to do and everything was fine. But now when I click on the v6.39 it takes me to the v7 installer page. Every time. I deleted the app, restarted my computer and downloaded v6.39. Installed it. I restarted again and the same thing keeps happening.

I feel like there is a virus in my computer which there isn’t according to Avast. Every thing is off and something is wrong. Ever since I installed CCleaner v7 I’ve had trouble with my computer. Some of my tabbed websites are not showing up. I get a white page until I refresh. I just put an order in for Chinese food from a company website that I’ve ordered from for years and it was canceled and my account deactivated because of possible fraud and lack of funds. There are funds in my bank account. All of this since v7. I uninstalled v6 and restarted my computer. This all is still going on. Very upsetting.
