After updating to CCleaner Professional Plus, ver 7.0.984.1153, Windows 11 I cannot change the size of the welcome banner to fit the screen on my laptop. This is more then annoying as it stops access to the product! The whole top and bottom are hidden.
How can I resize the welcome banner or bypass it completely?
David
I have the same problem after an automatic update to version 7
Managed to resolve this issue.
From the desktop, right click and select Display Settings
Select Scale and Layout, change to 100%
Run CCleaner 7 to bypass the Welcome Screen and use product as normally.
Reset Display Setting back to original setting.

CCleaner has always had problems/issues with ānot 100%ā display settings, and non-standard resolutions.
However you would have thought that with what is supposed to be a totally new UI they would have at least taken the opportunity to code the new UI so that it scales correctly for different resolutions and magnifications.
a smaller fixed size, or a normal full screen would have eliminated this problem. And who needs a welcome on a tool anyway? Buy a hammer, get a paper on Thanks for buying our product, and another on How to use it safely?
This is not working for me. The installer auto-starts the app and I have to kill it through the Windows Task Manager. Restarting the app manually just brings me back to the banner message that requires a higher screen resolution than my computer can provide.
QUESTION: How many times do I have to hit the TAB key before hitting the ENTER key in order to exit the startup message banner cleanly?
COMMENT #1: Iām perplexed why the ccleaner doesnāt have an āXā in the top corner of the banner. If Iām remembering correctly, CCleaner has had this kind of problem with prior releases of their product before.
COMMENT #2: Iām seriously disappointed with the startup for version 7 of CCleanerā¦I tried using an older version of the product and it forced me to the version 7 update.
COMMENT #3: Serious bugs like this make me wonder whether company is actively trying to shed their customers like me simply for owning computers unable to render screen resolutions big enough to align with someoneās assumptions. My computer is unable to render screen resolution larger than 1366 x 768.
