See redwolfe_98’s image of their “greyed-out” CCleaner interface in their 02-Jun-2025 post in yomama’s CCleaner ver 6.34.11482 freezes computer for 10-15 seconds after cleaning finishes. As nukecad stated, this freeze of the CCleaner interface only occurs after a Custom Clean with CCleaner Free, and for most user (including myself) it only lasts for a few seconds and does not display the 503 error message (i.e., temporary server disconnection) observed by redwolfe_98.
To date all evidence suggests that this glitch happens when CCleaner Free attempts, and fails, to display (upload) a large marketing ad nagging the user to upgrade to CCleaner Professional (see image below) that covers the entire CCleaner interface .
