CCleaner 6.33.11465 - Custom Clean Stuck on Clipboard. Why?

Lately, when I do a Custom Clean to purge alll temp cache on my Windows 11 Pro workstation it appears that once the Clipboard is reach, CCleaner will hang and no longer progress to the next step. It used to take 8 to 12 seconds tops to clean everything. Now it is indefinite.

Anyone has encountered this issue as well?

So far the only way to make it work is to re-start Windows…

Try ticking and unticking Notifications with a reboot in between.
Windows Settings/System/Clipboard (clipboard is on left near the bottom.)

Yes. I tried that. Still, it hangs on the Clipboard. Please fix this bug.

I am using a Win 11 pro machine and clipboard cleans for me.
When you clean the clipboard from within Windows does it hang as well or does it complete?
What security do you use?

From within Windows?! Haven’t I been saying this the whole time?

I asked what happens with clipboard cleaning if you DON’T use CCleaner and clean the clipboard from within Windows.
Windows Settings…System…Clipboard (listed down on the left.)
