Ccleaner 5.31 corrupt Thunderbird 52.2.0

Hello everybody,

Some days ago, i updated Thunderbird with the last version. Then i ran Ccleaner after this update.

I saw that Thunderbird lost all my mail accounts. I thought i was a problem in thunderbird.

I restored thunderbird files, and reinstalled Thunderbird : it worked fine.

I ran Ccleaner to clean my PC .... and thunderbird lost my mal accounts.

I did not modify the configuration in CCleaner : i always used the same parameters, to clean "cache","session","history","compact ...".

I restored thunderbird, and reinstalled Thunderbird : it work fine.

I modify parameters in ccleaner, to forget "thunderbird", and ran it : no problem.

So i think something changed somewhere,whis is wrong ?

Make sure you have CCleaner version 5.31.6105

There was a problem with build 6104 and a new build (6105) was released the same day.

I believe there was also a problem with a recent Thunderbird update that seemed to lose email accounts.

They were still there but had somehow been hidden.

I posted a link previously but can't find it from this phone.

Try googling for problems with Thunderbird updates.
